Under the provisions of Law 4495/2017, property owners can regulate arbitrary constructions or unauthorized changes of use that were completed before 28 July 2011. This process allows the suspension of penalties related to building violations and enables the legal management of existing irregularities.

Depending on the category of the violation and the level of compliance, the regulation may provide long-term suspension of penalties or permanent legalization, allowing properties to be legally transferred, utilized, or further developed.
